Cold Now, Snow Later 20 Feb 13

A wind chill advisory is in effect until 9 this morning (Wednesday).

The National Weather Service says with the combination of subzero temperatures and brisk winds, we can expect dangerous wind chills in the 20 below to 30 below zero range through daybreak this morning. Temperatures are expected to be in the teens below zero with winds from the north at about 5 miles an hour.

A winter storm watch has been issued from Thursday evening through Friday afternoon. The NWS says snow will be developing with a total of 5 to 8 inches possible between Thursday evening and Friday afternoon.
