A Sacred Heart teen was killed in a two-vehicle head-on crash Friday morning on Highway 212 between Granite Falls and Montevideo.

16-year-old Meagan Siemieniewski died at the scene. The State Patrol says she was not wearing a seat belt.

The Patrol says Siemieniewski was driving a pickup southbound on Highway 212 and collided with a northbound semi pulling a manufactured home.The driver of the semi, 57-year-old Mitchell Hanson of Elk River, was taken to North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale for treatment of minor injuries.

The crash happened just after 11:30 Friday morning and caused the highway to be closed until just after 10pm.
