The state Health Department reports seven flu-related deaths over the past week.
Thirty-seven Minnesotans were hospitalized with lab-confirmed influenza between March 3rd and 9th.
Officials say flu activity is circulating at a slower rate, with just one nursing home and two schools reporting outbreaks in the latest period. The flu season peaked in late January.
Since its start in October, officials have confirmed a total of 176 deaths in Minnesota.
