MSHSL sends memo to schools about weather 17 Apr 13

The Minnesota State High School league sent out a memo to schools in the state regarding the spring weather delays. The memo stressed to schools to keep school time and academics as the highest priority when rescheduling games. It also told schools that teams are allowed to play makeup games even after that team has been eliminated in playoff competition. Teams can play until the final day of the state tournament in their sport. Other tips it gave schools is to use Saturday’s to play events, play doubleheaders in baseball and softball, and even compressing the section tournaments down. State Tournament dates are unable to be moved and will be at the already listed dates.
