The flu season, which peaked in January is going down in the history books as one of the most severe in Minnesota.
Three more flu-related deaths were confirmed in Minnesota last week, raising the total to 197 since the flu season started in October. Last year, 33 flu-related deaths were reported statewide.
The Minnesota Department of Health says during the latest reporting period one person was hospitalized with the flu bringing the total number this season to nearly three-thousand-100.
