LifeLink III Air Ambulance Service has decided to relocate their base from Hutchinson to the Willmar Airport.
KWLM reports Willmar Planning and Development Director Bruce Peterson saying they decided the Willmar area will work better for their mission.
Peterson says Lifelink should be making the move soon, and housing for the air crews will be set up at the airport.
LifeLink III, based in Minneapolis, has been around since 1974 providing medical transportation services to places like St. Cloud Hospital, Hennepin County Medical Center and Regions Hospital. Officials say their goal is to get to their patient pickup site within 20 minutes of getting called.
