Motorists traveling Highway 15, just north of Highway 212 by Brownton, will find the railroad crossing closed for repair and upgrades.
Officials say the detour has been modified due to flooding on County Road 32. The new detour utilizes Highway 212, and McLeod County Road’s 25 and 26.
Crews are replacing the entire crossing, including crossing arms and rails.
This project is expected to be completed by late Thursday, June 27, weather permitting.
