The Hutchinson School District is looking for volunteers to help fill their new Volunteer Greeter Program.
As part of the District’s Safe and Secure initiatives, in conjunction with Hutchinson Police Services, volunteers are needed at each school building to greet visitors.
At this week’s school board meeting, Director of Teaching and Learning Debbra Marcotte presented a video about the program explaining what it’s all about, saying the program provides good “customer” service and added safety.
The complete video is available for viewing on the school districts website http://www.hutch.k12.mn.us/pageView.cfm.
Board Member Josh Gehlen says if you’d like to volunteer, the program is flexible and you can pick and choose which school and what days you prefer.
Anyone interested in volunteering can contact the Hutchinson School District Office by phone 587-2860 or on their website, http://www.hutch.k12.mn.us/pageView.cfm.
