Female Bank Robber May Have Struck Again 23 Aug 13

A female bank robber may have struck again in Minnesota.

The Chisago County Sheriff’s Office says a woman robbed the Stacy branch of First State Bank of Wyoming Thursday afternoon.

The woman presented a note, demanded money and threatened to use a weapon. She left on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The robber is described as a petite white woman dressed in black and wearing a black scarf to hide her face. She was also wearing large black sunglasses.

The sheriff’s office says she may be the same woman who robbed a bank in Cologne a week ago. That robbery happened at about 12:30 p.m. Thursday, August 15th at the Klein Bank in Cologne. Authorities said a white female presented a bank teller with a note demanding money. She did not brandish a weapon, but implied she had a gun.

Police said the teller put an undisclosed amount of money on the counter, the suspect took it and fled the scene.

Anyone with information about the incidents or who can identify the woman is asked to call the authorities.
