Twins call back Hendricks 23 Aug 13

Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN – The Minnesota Twins announced today that they will recall right-handed pitcherLiam Hendriks from Triple-A Rochester.  Hendriks made three starts for the Twins this season, going 0-1 with a 3.94 ERA (16. IP, 7 ER), with two walks and eight strikeouts.  In 16 starts for the Red Wings, he went 4-8 with a 4.67 ERA (98.1 IP, 51 ER) with 15 walks and 62 strikeouts.

Hendriks will join the team in Cleveland tomorrow and be activated prior to his start on Saturday night at Progressive Field.  The Twins plan to make a corresponding roster move prior to Saturday night’s game.
