A second person has died from the West Nile Virus in Minnesota.
The Department of Health has now confirmed 29 human cases of the virus in the state so far this year, and the two deaths.
Stearns and Otter Tail were the only Minnesota counties that have each seen 3 confirmed cases of West Nile as of the end of August.
There have been 2 confirmed cases in Brown County and 2 in Redwood County, and 1 case each in Blue Earth, Renville, McLeod, and Scott Counties.
There were a total of 103 confirmed cases of West Nile in Minnesota in 2012.
