You’ll see a city of motor homes assembled at the McLeod County Fairgrounds this weekend.
The Minnesota Winnebago-Itasca Travelers Club (Winnehahas) chose Hutchinson as the site of this year’s state rally.
President Ted Steele says about 65 of the traveling homes made the trip. Steele says the group has meals, raffles, will take of tour of a local winery, and they’ll be checking out the city-wide garage sales, which translates as being good for the local economy. Steele says since his arrival on Tuesday, he’s had all of his meals at local restaurants.
One of the requirements to join the club is that you own a Winnebago or Itasca brand motor home and Steele says there will be some show models at the fairgrounds open to the pubic for viewing.
