The Meeker County Sheriff’s Department says a rural Grove City woman was run over by a pickup during an argument Sunday.
At 2:29 am they received a report that a 25-year-old woman was at Meeker Memorial Hospital after a domestic dispute that resulted in her being ran over by a vehicle.
The driver of the vehicle involved was identified as 22-year-old Zachary Paul Callahan of rural Grove City. He was driving a 1999 Dodge ram truck at and address on 520th Avenue near Grove City and during the verbal argument the female got out of the vehicle and lost her balance and fell while the vehicle was backing up. She was ran over by the front tire of the vehicle, and taken to Meeker Memorial Hospital by a private party.
Callahan was arrested and booked into the Meeker County Jail on charges of 4th Degree DWI and Criminal Vehicular Operation of a motor vehicle.
