First Measurable Snow of the Season 06 Nov 13

The first measurable snowfall of the season has come.

Several inches of snow fell Tuesday (November 5th) evening around Minnesota.

National Weather Service spotters report 8.5 inches of snow east-southeast of Marshall, 8 inches north of Holland, 3.5 inches near Kingston, 3 inches in Sacred Heart, 3 inches in Hutchinson and Litchfield, 4.5 inches in Monticello, 4 inches in Darwin, and 2 inches in Waconia.

    I measured 7″ between Dassel and Cokato in our yard where not protected by trees. We went out cross country skiing last night in the snow.
