Bomb Threat at Willmar Walmart 08 Nov 13

A bomb threat briefly closed the Willmar Walmart Thursday afternoon. Willmar Police say around 3 p.m. there was a report of a person calling, saying they believed there was a bomb in the store.

KWLM reports store officials decided to evacuate, and Willmar police officers went through the store. No suspicious devices or articles were found.

Willmar fire crews were dispatched and were placed on standby.

Officers are following up and trying to track the phone call.

The store reopened for business as-usual just before 4 p.m.
