State Rep. Dean Urdahl will host a town hall meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 21st at Cokato City Hall.
The Acton Township Republican is inviting residents of District 18A to attend the meeting and provide him with input on the issues in preparation for the 2014 legislative session, which starts Feb. 25th.
Urdahl also will provide an update of developing issues, such as the sluggish roll-out of Minnesota’s new health insurance program – MNsure.
Urdahl says it’s a great opportunity for local citizens to participate in a casual conversation and let him know their thoughts, ideas and concerns. Urdahl says “This session is likely to include proposals to legalize marijuana, increase the minimum wage, and bring new anti-bullying mandates to Minnesota schools.
City Hall is located at 255 Broadway Ave. S. in Cokato.
