A Belle Plaine man is okay after his car slid into a Twin Cities & Western train in Green Isle Wednesday morning.
33-year-old Christopher Fahey was driving westbound on Parnell Street, did not stop on the ice covered street, went into a snow pile, and into the side of a train car. Fahey was not injured. His car had front end damage.
The Sibley County Sheriff’s Office says the train was traveling southbound at the time, which was manned by 29-year-old Nathan Carroll of Hutchinson.
The train car had minor damage.
The crash happened just before 7am.
