After months of relatively stable gas prices, things may be about to change.
Between now and Easter – the price of regular unleaded could shoot up 40 cents a gallon says Tom Kloza, an analyst at Gas Buddy. He says we’re entering that period where we’re going to see increases in most parts of the country.
Why? He says because of increased demand coming, the switch over to government mandated summertime blends, and refineries going offline for maintenance. The hardest hit areas are expected to be the Northeast and West Coast.
According to minnesotagasprices.com, Gas in Hutchinson is ranging from $3.18 to $3.26. Gas in Glencoe is ranging from $3.20 to $3.27. The Minnesota average is $3.31 The national average is $3.31 also.
