One person is dead and two seriously injured after a one-vehicle crash in New Ulm early Saturday morning.
27-year-old Randyn Groebner of New Ulm died at the scene.
The State Patrol says he was a passenger in a car driven by 22-year-old Liam Kelly. He was taken to HCMC for treatment of serious injuries.
Another passenger, 27-year-old Ryan Kelly, also of New Ulm, was also taken to HCMC with serious injuries.
The Patrol says Liam Kelly was driving westbound on Highway 14 in New Ulm, lost control on dry pavement and went off the road. He then hit a snow bank, causing the car to roll several times and hit a lightpole.
The crash happened just before 4am.
The State Patrol says alcohol was detected.
