A Litchfield woman had to be rescued from an overturned truck in a water-filled ditch Tuesday evening west of Hutchinson.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the incident was reported around 6 p.m. near Highway 7 and 200th Street.
The Patrol says the vehicle ran off Highway 7 and rolled into a water-filled ditch. The driver was able to keep her head above water while trapped in the vehicle until she was rescued.
The driver, 57-year-old Debra Decker, was then transported to Hutchinson Health with non-life threatening injuries.
Road conditions were snowy and icy at the time of the crash.
A Hutchinson man was hurt in a one vehicle rollover in Meeker County Tuesday morning.
The sheriff’s department says a pickup driven by 73-year-old Leslie Knacke was traveling on County Road 14 near Dassel when he lost control on the icy road, entered the ditch and rolled.
The driver was not hurt but passenger 34-year-old Jarod Young of Hutchinson was treated at the scene and passenger 25-year-old Ryan Knacke of Hutchinson was taken to Hutchinson Health.
A Henderson man suffered serious injuries in a rollover accident on Highway 19 Monday afternoon.
78-year-old John Kroehler was driving a car westbound on Highway 19 when he lost control on a curve just before 4:30pm. The car went into the north ditch and came to rest on its roof.
Kroehler was taken to Regions Hospital in St. Paulwith serious injuries.
Authorities say he was not wearing a seat belt.
