ST. PAUL, MN (March 26, 2014) – Kids of all ages dream of one day stepping to the plate in the bottom of the ninth inning, with the bases loaded and smacking a full count pitch over the wall to win a championship. For many that moment is just a dream, but the St. Paul Saints give aspiring ballplayers the opportunity to make that dream become a reality every year when they hold their open tryout for a chance to make the team.

All participants can showcase their talents at only one position.
. Infielders will go through various defensive drills and show off their arms across the diamond. Outfielders will show their range and showcase their arm as well. All position players will have a chance to take a few swings.
Pitchers will throw bullpen sessions while catchers will get behind the dish and show their ability to block balls and throw out baserunners.
If the tryout is rained out it will be rescheduled for the next day, on Friday, May 2 at 9:00 a.m.
