A Hutchinson woman has been charged with domestic assault after an incident with her husband Tuesday night.
Forty-four-year-old Lori Ann Hornick-Lindell was arrested, booked, and taken to the McLeod County jail after the incident and charged with one count of misdemeanor domestic assault. Hornick-Lindell is a member of the Hutchinson School Board.
Authorities say they were dispatched to a residence in the 500 Block of Grove Street just before 11pm after receiving a report of a domestic assault in progress.
Police separated the two, and then talked with each of the individuals involved.
Police say the incident began verbally as they were going home. The argument then turned physical at the residence when Hornick-Lindell allegedly grabbed the face of the victim causing scratches and cuts. She’s also accused of hitting the victim in the face.
