Seven people, including five teens, were injured Wednesday when a semi collided with a school bus near Renville.
None of the injuries were life-threatening.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the accident was happened at 6 p.m. on Highway 212, east of Renville when a Freightliner driven by 50-year-old David Littlecreek-Wilbanks of GraniteFalls collided broadside with a school bus driven by 56-year-old Dennis Isaackson of Cottonwood.
The State Patrol accident report said the school bus was going west on Highway 212 and the semi was going east on Highway 212 and was in the process of turning north onto Renville County Road 21 when the two vehicles collided.
There were 19 passengers on the bus at the time. Five were taken to the hospital.
The bus passengers, as well Littlecreek-Wilbanks, were all taken to the RC Hospital in Olivia and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
The school bus driver suffered no apparent injuries.
The road was icy at the time.
