If you drive Highway 25 south of Watertown, be prepared to change your travel route as crews reconstruct and elevate a segment of road prone to flooding beginning next week.
Officials say Highway 25 will close south of Watertown Monday, April 28th and open by early-July. While the road will remain open to local traffic, a segment of Highway 25 south of Watertown and north of Highway 7, near the South Fork of the Crow River, will be impassable.
A signed detour will direct motorists along Highway 7, County Road 33, County Road 8, and County Road 30.
Officials say all driveways will remain accessible throughout the project.
