LITTLE FALLS, Minn. (AP) — The trial of a Minnesota man charged with fatally shooting two teenagers will wrap up without the defendant taking the stand.
The 65-year-old Little Falls man is on trial for first-degree premeditated murder. Smith claims he was defending himself and feared for his life after several break-ins.
The defense rested its case Monday after Smith’s brother and two neighbors testified to his character. Anderson tentatively scheduled closing arguments for Tuesday morning.
