MINNEAPOLIS – ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Minnesota Twins today announced that a new All-Star Game commemorative print by renowned Minnesota sports artist Terrence Fogarty is now available for purchase. The print, titled “Our Game” paints a stunning vista of Target Field and the cityscape of the Twin Cities. However, its portrayal of baseball’s youth celebrating America’s Midsummer Classic is the heart of this commemorative piece. All net proceeds from the sale of “Our Game” will benefit the Minnesota Twins Community Fund.
“My goal is to paint in meticulous detail the faces, places and emotional attachment that people have to sports,” said Terrence Fogarty. “It is an honor to be able to commemorate this once-in-a-generation event in this way.”
“Our Game,” commissioned by the Minnesota Twins, has been reproduced as 600 limited edition fine art giclee prints and 30 full size canvas giclee reproductions. Each print and canvas has been meticulously reproduced from the original oil painting onto museum quality, fine art paper and artists canvas using archival inks. Terrence Fogarty personally hand signs and numbers each print. This image will not be reproduced in the future.
“Fogarty paints the national pastime like no other artist,” said Bryan Donaldson, Executive Director of the Minnesota Twins Community Fund. “His paintings and drawings are included in some of the most prestigious public and private art collections in the country including the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown.”
