Update-Rockford Man Critically Injured in Crash Identified 13 May 14

Authorities have released the name of the 58-year-old Rockford man that was taken to a Twin Cities hospital in critical condition after a one-vehicle crash in Wright County Saturday evening.

58-year-old Jeffrey Klonne was taken to North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale for treatment and remains in critical condition.

The Wright County Sheriff’s Office says deputies responded to a one vehicle roll-over crash in the 2800 block of County Road #35 in Chatham Township.  Upon arrival, Deputies located Klonne lying in the east ditch.

The initial investigation indicates the driver failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway as he was traveling eastbound on County Road #35.  The vehicle entered the east ditch and rolled several times ejecting Klonne.

Authorities say he was the lone occupant of the vehicle and was not wearing a seatbelt.

The crash was reported just after 7pm.
