WACONIA, Minn. (AP) — Flooding in St. Paul forced A Taste of Minnesota to move this year’s festival to the Carver County Fairgrounds and the festival begins today (Thursday).
The food and music festival was displaced after flooding on Harriet Island.
A Taste of Minnesota will be held today through Sunday ( July 3rd through 6th) at the fairgrounds in Waconia and will feature more than 100 menu items from 24 food and beverage vendors and performances from 29 musical acts. Headliners include Soul Asylum, Starship, Halestorm and Joe Nichols. Fireworks will take place nightly at 10:20 p.m.
