A rural Willmar man was rescued Friday afternoon after being caught in an auger on a farm southwest of town.
The unidentified 59-year-old man sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
According to a press release, the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s office received a call at 2:45 p.m. about a farm accident three miles southwest of Willmar where a man was caught in a grain sweep auger.
Sheriff’s deputies and other emergency personnel were able to free the man, who was transported to Rice Memorial Hospital for treatment.
