The Wright County Attorney’s Office says they are still waiting for reports from the Minnesota State Patrol before they can decide what charges, if any, a teen will face after a fatal motorcycle crash that killed a Willmar man.
KWLM report the Sheriff’s Office says the incident that occurred one week ago today (Thursday) is still under investigation and it may take another week or more to get the reports.
The patrol initially said the 17-year-old girl drove her 2001 Chevy Impala across the centerline of Highway 12 near Montrose and struck a motorcycle driven by 21-year-old Robert Brau of Willmar.
The patrol said they would not release the girl’s name because of possible criminal charges.
Funeral services for Brau are at 4:30 this afternoon at Vinje Lutheran Church in Willmar.
