Highway 15 and Highway 55 Projects 15 Sep 14

Motorists traveling on Highway 15 between Hutchinson and Dassel will encounter lane restrictions beginning today (Monday, Sept. 15) as crews complete a preventive maintenance paving project to extend the life of the road surface.

Work will be conducted in two stages over the next few months.

The first stage of the work will focus on high priority patching and resurfacing while the later stage will address filling in the areas not resurfaced in stage one.

Motorists should expect delays on the road segment where crews are working.

During the work, flaggers will direct traffic through the work zone.

Drivers are urged to slow down and be alert for crews and equipment in this moving work zone.

Work is expected to be completed by mid-November, weather permitting.

Motorists traveling Highway 55 between Highway 4 near Paynesville and Highway 22 in Eden Valley will encounter a detour beginning today (Monday, Sept. 15) to allow crews to replace concrete panels in preparation of a 4” bituminous overlay.

The detour will route motorists south on Highway 4, east on Meeker County Road 3 and north on Highway 22.

The detour will be in effect for approximately two weeks, but will be removed over the weekend.

This project began Sept. 8 and includes resurfacing and turn lane installation.

Work is scheduled for completion in late October, weather permitting.
