Two Tigers on All State team 03 Dec 14

Two Hutchinson Tigers were named to the All State First Team by the Associated Press.  Hutchinson RB Robbie Grimsley  added to his list of awards and was named to the first team All State squad.  Grimsley had previously been honored with the Mr. Football MN award, and the Star Tribune Metro Player of the Year award.  RG5 did lose out on the AP Player of the year award though.  That award went to Mankato West QB Ryan Schlichte.  The other Hutch player named to the All State team was Offensive Lineman Sawyer Witt.    Witt was a multiple year starter for the Tigers and helped pave the way for an offense that gained over 5,000 yards two straight years.  Witt has been called the top OL in Hutch history.  No other area players were named to the AP All State Team.

One other note, Robbie Grimsley was also named to the Minnesota Vikings All State Team this past weekend.
