Two Arrested after Chase East of Hutchinson 21 Feb 15

Two people were arrested this week in connection with a chase that occurred east of Hutchinson.

On Thursday at about 5pm, the McLeod County Sheriff’s Office responded to a driving complaint of two vehicles in a chase in the area of Hwy 22 and Noble Road, east of Hutchinson.

The deputy stopped one of the vehicles in the area of 130th St and Ranch Ave, south of Hutchinson. As a result, 32-year-old Darryl Leon Champlin of Hutchinson was arrested for probable cause charge of Driving While Intoxicated and other charges. He was taken to the McLeod County Jail in Glencoe.

The other driver was found later at an address on Oday Ave, southeast of Brownton. 32-year-old Casey Tray Lindeman of Brownton was also arrest and taken to the McLeod County Jail for probable cause charge of violation of a Domestic Abuse no Contact Order.

Authorities say later on, a damage to property report from a residence on Noble Road came in possibly associated with the chase.

The investigation continues.
