Hundreds filed claims against Archdiocese 04 Aug 15

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Hundreds of claims have been filed alleging clergy abuse as the court deadline comes to a close in the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis bankruptcy case. Attorneys have counted more than 400 claims filed by Monday. The flood of claims stems from a state law which lifted the statute of limitations on older claims of abuse. The claims prompted the archdiocese to file bankruptcy earlier this year.
