The snow is now accumulating in Hutchinson on this Groundhog’s Day.

…WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM CST

WEDNESDAY…

This Afternoon (Tuesday): Snow. The snow could be heavy at times. Widespread blowing snow, mainly after 5pm. High near 29. Blustery, with a northeast wind 20 to 25 mph, with gusts as high as 35 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Total daytime snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible. 

Tonight: Snow, mainly before 3am. The snow could be heavy at times. Widespread blowing snow, mainly before 1am. Low around 17. Windy, with a north wind 20 to 30 mph, with gusts as high as 35 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible. 

Wednesday: A slight chance of snow before 7am, then a chance of flurries between 7am and 10am. Patchy blowing snow before 10am. Cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 19. Blustery, with a northwest wind 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Wednesday Night: A chance of flurries after 1am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 5. West northwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming southwest after midnight. 

Thursday: A chance of flurries before 7am, then a slight chance of snow after 7am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 25. West wind around 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Groundhogs Day Snow in Hutchinson
