Miller Announced Re-election Bid 22 Feb 16

State Representative Tim Miller of Prinsburg says he is going to seek re-election to House District 17A, representing Renville, Swift, Chippewa, and the southern portion of Kandiyohi Counties.

In a news release Sunday Miller said “It has been such an honor to serve the residents of west-central Minnesota. In the past year we had passing a number of new laws that have positively impacted the people in our area, and I look forward to building on this success.”

Miller refered to legislation that helped area poultry producers battle the avian flu epidemic, brought $5 million in new funding to District 17A nursing homes, and provided new street repair revenue to towns with fewer than 5,000 residents.

Miller defeated DFLer Andrew Falk of Murdock in 2014. Miller and his wife Cherie live in Prinsburg with three of their seven children.
