Wild active in Free Agency 02 Jul 16

ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — The Minnesota Wild have agreed to terms with center Eric Staal to a three-year, $10.5 million contract, the upgrade to their top two lines they were seeking this season. The deal was done Friday, soon after free agency began. The Wild also agreed to a deal to bring back left wing Chris Stewart for two years and $2.3 million and add goalie Alex Stalock for depth.
