New London man reaches plea agreement in stalking case 19 Apr 17

A New London man pleased guilty tuesday to two gross misdemeanor charges of stalking and a misdemeanor charge for driving without a driver’s license. The West Central Tribune reports that 26 year old Lance Lovin made the plea Tuesday in District Court in Willmar. A felony stalking charge was dismissed as part of a plea agreement. The Kandiyohi County complaint alleged that Lovin followed a woman and a 12-year-old girl in their vehicle at close distance for 21 miles in an incident on March 21. The two were worried that he would kidnap or harm them, according to the complaint. It alleges that the defendant mistook the girl for his girlfriend.
