Vikings finalize schedule, Floyd in trouble again 17 Jun 17

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (AP) — The Vikings will have their first full-team practice of training camp at Minnesota State University on July 27th. The Vikings have finalized the schedule for their 52nd consecutive late-summer trip to Mankato. This could be the last one, with a new practice facility set to open in Eagan next year. This time, rookies and other young or injured players will report three days early for practices before the rest of the squad arrives.

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Police say Vikings wide receiver Michael Floyd has been flagged for failed alcohol tests that are part of his monitoring for house arrest in Minnesota. Police records obtained by the Star Tribune show that Floyd flagged his alcohol monitoring three times and missed another test. Floyd told the St. Paul Pioneer Press that the reports are “totally false.” He allegedly blamed the results on consuming kombucha tea, which is fermented.
