Nordberg Pleads Not Guilty to Renville Co. Charges 12 Oct 17

(KWLM/Olivia MN-) A St. Cloud man pleaded not guilty to 5 charges in connection with a weekend chase with police and Sheriff’s Deputies in Renville County.

Twenty-five-year-old Jeremy Nordberg is charged with two felonies and three misdemeanors, including possession of stolen property, driving after revocation and fleeing police.

He is accused of leading law enforcement on a chase in a stolen car after a gas drive off in Franklin Saturday afternoon.

4 hours, 21 miles and a 100 mile-an-hour chase later, Nordberg was arrested in a cornfield near Hector with the help of a drone and state patrol helicopter.

In Renville County District Court Tuesday Nordberg pleaded not guilty to all charges.

Unconditional bail was set at $50,000.

His next court appearance is a settlement conference/omnibus hearing December 5th.

A jury trial has been set for January 9th.
