Two Charged in Hutchinson Storage Unit Burglaries 10 Jan 18

Two Hutchinson residents have been charged in connection with multiple burglaries at a storage facility that were reported in November and December.

Twenty-nine-year-old Cassandra Jean Christensen is charged with one count of receiving stolen property and one count of aiding and abetting receiving stolen property, both felonies.

Thirty-four-year-old Gabriel Andrew Patterson is charged with one felony count of receiving stolen property.

Authorities say their investigation uncovered information that the two had allegedly taken many items from other units at Central Self Storage on Highway 7 West, and either put them in their own storage unit or took them to their residence at 646 Franklin Street.

Authorities say over $5,000 worth of stolen merchandise was found, including a motorcycle, several lawnmowers, and a 60-inch television.
