Glencoe Man to Stand Trial for Shaking Infant Son 18 Jun 18

(Learfield News Service/Glencoe, MN) — A Glencoe man accused of shaking his five-month-old son and causing a brain injury will stand trial August 14th.

Twenty-four-year-old Timothy Miller is charged with first-degree assault after becoming frustrated and shaking the child at least five times.

Police found the boy unresponsive with shallow breathing in January while he was in the care of Miller.

Doctors determined the child suffered a massive brain injury.

The criminal complaint says the child was able to return home this spring.

A first-degree assault conviction carries a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison.
