Body Found Believed to be that of Missing Buffalo Lake Man 09 Jul 18

On Saturday (July 7, 2018), just after noon, the body of an adult male, believed to be that of a missing Buffalo Lake man, was found in the drainage ditch about one mile downstream from the site of a submerged vehicle that he was believed to have been driving.

Twenty-four-year-old Adam Michael Rein had last been seen leaving an establishment in Hector, MN on Tuesday, July 3rd, at about 11:00 PM.

On Thursday, just before 7:30pm, the Renville County Sheriff’s Office received a report of what appeared to be a vehicle that was submerged in a drainage ditch northeast of Hector, MN in Hector Township.

Renville County Sheriff Scott Hable says the body has been sent to the Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy and identity confirmation.
