The McLeod County Historical Museum (380 School Road NW) will host author Mark Diedrich on Sunday, May 6th, from 2:00 – 4:00 PM in the Museum Meeting Room. Diedrich will be speaking on the U.S. & Dakota War of 1862, specifically the causes of the war and the aftermath. The cost is $5.00 for adults and free for children under 12 years of age.
