Kråkeelva Lodge 1-676 of the Sons of Norway will have their Fall Kick-Off on Saturday, September 8th, from 4:30 – 6:00 PM at the Historic Ness Church SW of Litchfield. Dean Urdahl, Dakota War historian, will speak on “Scandinavian Immigrants and the Dakota War” and give a tour of the Ness Church, which was a significant site 150 years ago when the conflict began. The public is welcome and can meet at the Ness Church at 4:30 PM or carpool from Shalom Baptist Church in Hutchinson. Car pools will leave promptly at 4:00 PM.
