    1. Carver County Dairy Coronation
      6:30 pm – 9:00 pm

      The 66th Annual Carver County Dairy Dinner and Princess Coronation is Saturday, April 7th at the Mayer Community Center. Social Hour starts at 6:30 pm, Dinner at 7:30 pm and Program at 8 pm. Tickets are available for advance purchase until March 30th for $15 from local Dairy Farmers, any ADA Board Member, or any Committee Member. Tickets at the door are $20.

      9:00 am – 1:00 pm

      The Winthrop Lions Club Omelet Breakfast is Sunday, April 8th at St Francis de Sales Catholic Church after their 8:30 am Mass. Serving until 1 pm for $8. Proceeds go to Winthrop Projects.

    2. Mayer Fish Fry
      10:30 am – 1:30 pm

      The Mayer Fire Deptartment Fish Fry is Sunday, April 8th from 10:30a-1:30p. All you can eat Fish, Hot Dogs, Potato Salad, Cole Slaw and more! $11 for adults, $5 for Children. Plus the Zion Lutheran School is selling Pie as a fundraiser, and the Mayer Fire Auxiliary is having a bake sale.

    3. Meet the Author Kao Kalia Yang
      2:00 pm – 4:00 pm

      he Heart of Hutch presents a Community Book Read Meet the Author program on Sunday, April 8th at 2 pm at the Hutchinson Event Center. Author of “The Song Poet” Kao Kalia Yang will be on hand for the program. The event is free and open to the public with Refreshments Served.

    4. Stories of Hope and Healing
      6:30 pm – 9:00 pm

      You are invited for Stories of Hope and Healing on Sunday, April 8th at 6:30 pm at the Hutchinson Event Center. The Free event is during a Resource Fair and Community Health Services Presentation. Suicide Survivor and Storyteller Kevin Hines, along with Army Veteran and Marathoner Dick Beardley will speak at the event. No registration is required.

    1. Suicide and Mental Health Awareness Conference
      7:30 am – 4:45 pm

      The Suicide and Mental Health Awareness Conference is at the Hutchinson Event Ceter on Monday, April 9th. The event begins at 7:30 am and continues through 4:15 pm with speakers, discussion, and food. Cost is $15. To register call 507-766-3531.

      The Brownton Congregational Church is hosting their Community Meal the Second Wednesday of Each month (April 11) from 5-7 pm. Cost is just a free Will Donation. Take Outs available.

      The Hector American Legion Auxiliary has a Pillow Cleaning Service on Thursday, April 12th from 7a-3p at the Hector United Methodist Church. Same Day Service to clean, deoderize, sanitize, and fluff your pillows. Proceeds go to the Hector Legion Auxiliary Projects.

      The Glencoe VFW Auxiliary has a Pillow Cleaning on Friday, April 13th from 7a-3p at the VFW in Glencoe. Get your pillow Cleaned on the spot, returned the same day.

    2. SL Paper Drive
      7:00 am – 7:00 pm

      The Silver Lake Knights of Columbus Paper Drive is Friday and Saturday (April 13, 14) on the North Side of the Holy Family Church in Silver Lake. Items accepted include Newspapers, Magazines, Cardboard, and Junk Mail. Items must be clean and dry. Proceeds go to the SL Summer Youth Rec Program and Swimming Pool.

    3. Spring Salad Luncheon
      12:00 pm – 2:00 pm

      The United Lutheran Church of Lake Lillian has their annual Spring Salad Luncheon at Noon on Friday, April 13th. Cost is a Free Will Offering. Program is “Hats” by Linda Hanson.

    4. Comic Relief
      5:00 pm – 9:00 pm

      Join St. Philips Church of Litchfield for a night of Comic Relief on Friday, April 13th. Doors open at 5 pm, Happy Hour at 5:30 pm, Dinner at 6:30 pm, and Comedian John Bush performs at 8 pm. Tickets are $35 before March 30, $45 after March 31.

    5. Hammer and Nails Fundraiser
      5:00 pm – 9:00 pm

      Crow River Habitat for Humanity’s annual Hammer and Nails Fundraiser Dinner is Friday, April 13th from 5-9pm at the Crow River Country Club in Hutchinson. Cost is $50. Enjoy appetizers, cocktails, dinner, music, auction, raffles and more!

    1. Bible Read a Thon
      10:00 am – 9:15 am

      Beginning on Saturday, April 14th at 10:00 am and continuing through Sunday, April 15th to 9:15 am (just prior to the regular worship service) there will be a “Bible Read-A-Thon” at the Grace Bible Church in Silver Lake. Members of the congregation have signed up for designated time periods and will take turns reading through the entire New Testament!  Individuals will read the Bible from the pulpit in their favorite Bible translation, or the language they are comfortable with. The general public is invited to come at anytime and listen to God’s word being read. Grace Bible Church is located at 300 Cleveland Street S.W. in Silver Lake, next to the city water tower.

    2. Spaghetti Dinner
      4:30 pm – 7:00 pm

      Hunters Ridge Community Church has an authentic Italian Spaghetti Dinner on Saturday, April 14th starting at 4:30 pm. Serving Spaghetti, Ceasar Salad, Bread and more! Proceeds send kids to Bible Camp.

    3. Mystery Dinner Theatre
      5:30 pm – 8:00 pm

      It’s Murder at the Hutch Zoo for Mystery Dinner Theatre on Saturday, April 14th at the Hutchinson Event Center. Doors open at 5:30 pm, 6 pm Show. Cost is $35 for this Senior Center Fundraiser. Call 320-234-5656 for Tickets or details.

    4. Air Force band Concert
      7:00 pm – 8:30 pm

      The US Air Force Band of Mid-America’s Concert Band will present a concert at the Dassel-Cokato Performing Arts Center on Saturday, April 14th at 7:00 pm. Admission is free and open to the public but Tickets will be required for this free event and may be reserved online at http://pac.dc.k12.mn.us orby stopping in or calling the Dassel-Cokato Community Education office at 320-286- 4120, Monday through Friday, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm.

    5. Mcleod County Dairy Princess Coronation
      7:00 pm – 8:30 pm

      Come and enjoy the evening at the 65th McLeod County Dairy Association Spring Banquet and Dairy Princess Coronation, Saturday April 14, 2018 at the Glencoe City Center in Glencoe MN. Appetizers are at 7:00 p.m. with buffet dinner at 7:30 p.m. followed by the Make Your Own Sundae Bar. Tickets are $14.00 in advance $17.00 at the door children 5-10 $7.00 under 5 Free.     1. Hector Legion Auxiliary Fundraiser
      4:00 pm – 8:00 pm

      The Hector American Legion Auxiliary will be busing tables at Unhinged Pizza in Glencoe on Monday April 16th from 4-8 p.m..  For their efforts, all tips and 10% of the sales will go to their organization for their projects.  Come and enjoy some good food.  Bring your family and friends.

      St Anastasia Church Rummage Sale is Wednesday and Thursday (April 18, 19) from 8a-6p. Quarter for most items, Thursday is $2/Bag Day from Noon-6 pm. Winter Coats and Jackets $1 each.

    2. Additional Performance
      6:00 pm – 7:30 pm

      Hutchinson Theatre Company has added an additional performance of its current show, “Drinking Habits,” this coming Wednesday (April 18) to make up for having to cancel last Saturday’s performance. So that means you have one more chance to see this great show! Go to our website, www.hutchtheatre.org, to get your tickets! You can also stop in at the Hutchinson Center for the Arts or the Hutchinson Area Chamber of Commerce & Tourism office to purchase tickets.  Tickets are $18. Doors open at 6:30pm. Show starts at 7pm.

    3. April American Legion Auxiliary Meeting
      7:00 pm – 8:30 pm

      The April Regular meeting of the American Legion Auxiliary will be held on April 18th at Hutchinson VFW Post 906 at 7pm.  Meal available for purchase at 6pm. All Members are encouraged to attend.   All eligible female dependents are also encouraged to attend.
