    1. Maple Syrup Breakfast
      9:00 am – 12:00 pm

      MN Pioneer Park of Annandale hosts their Maple Syrup Festival Pancake Breakfast on Sunday, April 17th from 9a-1p. It’s all you can eat Pancakes, Eggs, Sausage and a Beverage. Cost is $8 for adults, $4 for ages 4-12, and 3 and under are free. You can also purchase fresh maple syrup at the event.

      the Mcleod Alliance for Victims of Domestic Violence invite you to their Pancake Breakfast on Sunday, April 17th at the Hutchinson Elks Lodge from 9a-1p. All the pancakes you can eat for a $7 donation.

    3. Polka Worship and German Dinner
      10:00 am – 1:00 pm

      You are invited to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church of Stewart for their 15th annual Polka Worship and German Dinner on Sunday, April 17th. Worship is at 10 am featuring the Wendinger Band, Dinner from 11a-1p. Cost is $10 for adults, 6-11 are $5, and 5 and under are free. Serving German Potato Salad, Scalloped Potatoes, Brats, Meatballs, Glazed Carrots, German Sauerkraut and more!

    4. Potato Pancake Dinner
      10:30 am – 1:00 pm

      The New Auburn VFW presents their Potato Pancake Dinner on Sunday, April 17th from 10:30a-1p at the New Auburn Fire Hall. Adults are $10, Children 6-11 are $5, and under 5 is free. All you can eat Potato and Buttermilk Pancakes, Pork Sausage, Applesauce, Cheese, Bars and a Beverage.

    5. Pork Chop Dinner
      11:00 am – 1:00 pm

      You’re invited to the PTL Pork Chop Dinner at St. James Lutheran School of Howard Lake on Sunday, April 17th from 11a-1p in the Fellowship Hall of the School. Serving Pork Chops, Scalloped Potatoes, Corn, Coleslaw, Fruit Salad and more. A free will offering will be accepted for the school.  

    6. WOOD you believe
      2:00 pm – 3:30 pm

      The Dassel History Center opens up their new exhibit “WOOD you believe” on Sunday, April 17th at 2 pm with a reception. Wood Carver Fred Cogelow of Willmar will be speaking and unveil a new carving. There is no charge for the reception or exhibit. The exhibit will be open until May 21st.

    1. GHPS Fundraiser
      4:00 pm – 8:00 pm

      Glencoe Historic Preservation Society  is sponsoring a verbal antique appraisal on Monday, April 18th from 5-7:00.  They will also be bussing tables and having a bake sale from 4-8: on the same night at Unhinged Pizza. The proceeds will go towards refurbishing the original Henry Hill Stone.

    1. Spaghetti Dinner
      5:00 pm – 7:00 pm

      You’re invited to a Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser on Tuesday, April 19th from 5-7 pm at the Cosmos Legion. Free Will Donations go to the Cosmos Building Fund for the Community Center, Library, Fitness Center, and City Hall.

      Silver Lake will be having their City Wide Garage Sales this Thursday, April 21, 8 AM – 5 Pm, Friday, April 22- 8 AM - 5 PMand Saturday , April 23 -8 Am - Noon

    1. SL Paper Drive
      8:00 am – 5:00 pm

      The Silver Lake Knights of Columbus is having a Paper Drive April 22 and 23 on the north side of the Holy Family Church. Proceeds go to the Swimming Pool and Summer Rec Programs.

    2. Spring Fish Fry
      11:00 am – 7:00 pm

      The Dassel Rod and Gun Club’s Spring Fish Fry is Friday, April 22nd from 11a-7p. Serving Pollock, Au Gratin Potatoes, Cole Slaw, Baked Beans and more at Sportsmens Park on Lake Washington. Adults are $10, Children under 12 are $5.  

    3. Salad Luncheon
      12:00 pm – 1:30 pm

      The United Lutheran Church of Lake Lillian is holding their Salad Luncheon on Friday, April 22nd starting at Noon. Join them for a wide variety of salads, along with bread and beverage. A free will offering will be taken for Safe Avenues of Willmar, plus there will be a short program after the Luncheon with Casey Baker from Safe Avenues.  

    4. Gulf War Veterans Seminar
      3:00 pm – 4:00 pm

      Gulf War Era Veterans and their spouses are invited to a Veterans Benefit Seminar. There will be three times you can attend: April 22nd from 3-4 pm, April 22nd from 6-7 pm, and April 23rd from 9-10am. The event is at the Mcleod County Administrative Building in Glencoe. You’ll learn about the federal, state, and local benefits available. Registration is not required.

    1. Spring Fling Brunch and Sale
      8:00 am – 10:00 am

      The Spring Fling Bruch and Sale is coming up at the Gloria Dei Dining Room of the Emmaus Gift Shop in Litchfield on Saturday, April 23rd from 8a-10a. Cost is $6 per person.  

    2. Sibley County Expo
      10:00 am – 2:00 pm

      You are invited to the first ever Sibley County Business Expo on Saturday, April 23rd at GFW High School in Winthrop. There will be food available in the Concessions area, plus speakers throughout the day, and don’t forget to browse the booths!  

    3. Beer and Wine Tasting Benefit
      6:00 pm – 8:00 pm

      The School of St. Philip in Litchfield is having their Spring Fling Beer and Wine Tasting Event on Saturday, April 23rd from 6-8 pm. The event features 14 different vendors to sample from, plus a silent auction and door prizes. Proceeds go to the School Scholarship Fund. For Tickets RSVP to 320-693-2586, Tickets are $20 in advance, $25 at the event.  

    4. John Berry in Concert
      7:00 pm – 8:30 pm

      The Dassel Cokato Arts Association presents country music legend John Berry in Concert on Saturday, April 23rd at 7 pm at the school Performing Arts Center. Tickets are available at the DC School website, the Community Education office, or at the door starting at 6 pm.

    1. Just Drive 5K
      7:30 am – 10:00 am

      Join the fight against Distracted Driving by participating in the Just Drive Family 5K Run/Walk on Sunday, April 24th. Sign in begins at 7:30 a, Run/Walk begins at 9a at Oak Leaf Park of Glencoe. Registration is free, but free will donations will be accepted to cover event costs and $20 donors receive a tshirt and a goodie bag. Proceeds will go toward local programs to educate young people on the dangers of distracted driving. 

    2. Cub Scout Fundraiser
      8:00 am – 12:00 pm

      Join Cub Scout Pack 246 at the Hutchinson Elks Lodge for an All you can Eat Brunch on Sunday, April 24th from 8a-Noon. The meal includes Pancakes, Scrambled Eggs, Ham, Sausage, Fruit and Beverage. Cost is $7 per person, under 5 eat free. Plus shop the silent auction from 8a-11:30a.  

    3. Polka Service
      10:00 am – 12:00 pm

      Faith Presbyterian Church, located on Main Street in Silver Lake, will be holding their annual Polka Service featuring “Jim’s Brewers” on Sunday, April 24 at 10:00am.  Immediately following the service, there will be a picnic hosted by the Faith Preschool Committee in the church basement.  Free will offering – all are welcome!!

    4. Firefighter Program
      2:00 pm – 3:30 pm

      The Mcleod County Historical Society presents a panel discussion about Mcleod County Firefighting on Sunday, April 24th at 2 pm at the Museum. There will be a Q and A about how the organizations are run today and MCHS Staff will provide historical context on how the early fire departments were formed.

    1. Food For Kidz Packing Event
      2:00 pm – 6:00 pm

      The Plato Lions Club is sponsoring a Food for Kidz Packing event on Wednesday, April 27th from 2-6 pm. Volunteers are needed for two shifts (2-4p, 4-6p). The event will be at the King Pin Pub. You can RSVP to Jami 763-647-9884 or Connie 612-501-7064

    1. Trolling for the Troops
      8:30 am – 9:30 am

      Veterans are invited to go “Trolling for the Troops” in June. Any Veteran is eligible for this special day of fishing, but you must apply for the event by April 29th. For more info go to the groups Facebook page at facebook.com/trollingforthetroops

    2. Carter Renner Blood Drive
      10:00 am – 4:00 pm

      You are invited to give blood in honor of Carter Renner on Friday, April 29th at the Hutchinson Mall from 10a-4p. In addition to the blood drive there is a bone marrow registry going on also. For more info go to redcrossblood.org and enter sponsor code CRBD.

      St. Pauls United Church of Christ in Plato is having a Salad Luncheon on Friday, April 29th from 11a-1p. Cost is $8 and Take out orders are available.

    4. KMS Fundraiser
      6:30 pm – 11:45 pm

      The KMS Marching Saints have been selected to represent Minnesota at the 75th Anniversary of the attacks on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 2016.  The Saints will be playing on the USS Missouri.In order to help reduce the cost of this once in a lifetime opportunity, and to help make it available to all students; they are hosting many fundraisers-in addition to the students working and saving.  The next fundraiser is a dinner and Johnny Holms concert at McKinney’s in Benson, MN on Friday, April 29th. The dinner is steak & shrimp with salad, potato, vegetable, bun, & cake from 6:30-8:00.  Then the Johnny Holms concert from 8:30-midnight.  The dinner is $20 & the concert is $20.  The events are separate. Tickets are on sale from any band member.

    1. Family Fun Day
      10:00 am – 2:00 pm

      Cedar Mills Gun Club invites you to the 1st Annual Family Fun Day/2nd Amendment Celebration Shoot taking place April 30th at the Cedar Mills Gun Club.  This event will be promoting the safe use of firearms to all youth & adults featuring shooting & trap contests, with trained supervision, using rifles, pistols and shotguns, for ages 6-96.  Winners of all adult contests will receive a cash prize, and youth winners will win one of (3) new Ruger 10/22 rifles. There will be a $10 fee for contest entry and a ticket will be included for a chance to win one of 3 new guns plus many other prizes. A fully catered meal of Beef Brisket, Coleslaw & Brisket Chili will be sponsored by the Meeker County Republican Party using the services of Ben’s BBQ Pit of Grove City. Any other expected concessions will be available. Shooting Event signup will begin at 10am, on April 30th, with youth contests starting early & adults following. The festivities will end mid afternoon at the conclusion of the gun raffle drawings.

      Sat, April 30: Ground Blessing for their 24th Habitat Homebuyer at 504 Hilltop Dr NE, Hutchinson, 10:30 am

      Fri May 13: 11th annual Hammer and Nails Dinner at Crow River Golf Club from 5:30-9pm. Tickets are $45, to purchase call 587-8868

      Sat May 21: They will be selling concessions at the Kahnke Tree Auction

    3. Salad Luncheon

      St. John Lutheran Church of Hollywood is holding their Salad Luncheon on Saturday, April 30th from 11a-1p. Adults are $8, Children 5-12 are $3, and under 4 is free.

    4. Spring Tea
      1:00 pm – 2:30 pm

      The Brownton Congregational Church hosts their Spring Tea on Saturday, April 30th at 1 pm. $6 per person, Door Prizes awarded.
