    1. Lakeside Elementary Concert
      7:00 pm – 8:30 pm

      The Band and Choir students of Lakeside Elementary will be presenting their Spring Concert on Tuesday, May 22 nd , at 7 p.m. in the Lakeside Elementary School Gym in Silver Lake. Please join them for a night filled with a variety of music.

    2. Roy and Rosemary
      7:00 pm – 8:30 pm

      The Hutchinson Concert Association presents Roy and Rosemary, a Pops Violin and Piano Duet on Tuesday, May 22nd at St Anastasia Catholic Church. A limited number of tickets are available at the door for $20.

    3. David Fenley Program
      8:00 pm – 9:30 pm

      David Fenley, ADA Director for the MN Council on Disability, will be in Hutchinson on Tuesday, May 22 presenting to business and building owners from Hutchinson and surrounding communities on ADA Accessibility. This programs allows owners to make knowledgeable decisions about changes they may make before construction begins on Main Street in early 2020. David’s presentation will be from 8-9:30 with Q&A following. Along with David, Dr. Brian Bonte, Hutchinson physician and Kyle Dimler, Hutchinson’s City Building Official, will also be available for questions.     1. Food for Kidz Packing event
      4:30 pm – 7:30 pm

      There is a Food for Kidz Packaging Event on Wednesday, May 23 from 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm at Bethlehem United Methodist Church, Hutchinson. The Event is open to everyone of all ages. Work as teams in packaging nutritious meals for hungry children and their families, locally and worldwide. A light lunch is provided during the event. Come at any time and stay as long as you want.

      9:00 am – 10:30 am

      You’re invited to the Plato Memorial Day Program (Monday, May 28) starting at 9 am at the Plato Hall.

    2. Brownton Memorial Day Program
      10:00 am – 12:00 pm

      The Brownton American Legion Auxiliary has their Memorial Day Service (Mon, May 28) starting at 10 am at the Brownton Community Center. Potluck follows the program at 11 am.

      10:00 am – 12:00 pm

      A Bike Rodeo for Kids 8-10 years will be Sat. June 2nd 10AM-12PM at the Church of Peace, NYA. Learn Bike safety, ride the Obstacle Course and Get your  bike checked for safety. Free Bike Helmet for 1st 50 Kids, Drawing for a Girls & Boys 20” Bike. Held rain or shine

    1. Author Dean Urdahl at Mcleod Cty Historical Society
      2:00 pm – 3:00 pm

      On Sunday June 3rd,  2pm @ the McLeod County Historical Society, Author Dean Urdahl will visit the museum and be speaking about Minnesota Regiments during the civil War.  Admission is Free!!

      McLeod County 4H Horse Drill Team is raising funds for uniforms at Unhinged Pizza in Glencoe on Monday June 4th from 4-8pm. Please support by stopping in for dinner.

      11:00 am – 1:00 pm

      Stop by the KARP June Dairy Day’s Celebrations around Mcleod County. Stop in at each site for Dairy Treats and meet the Mcleod County Dairy Princesses and Ambassadors. Here’s where we’ll be in the month of June: Tuesday, June 5:Casey’s inStewart from 11a-1p – Thursday, June 7: Various places around Glencoe All Day – Tuesday, June 12: Casey’s in Lester Prairie from 10a-1p – Thursday, June 14: at the Silver Lake Park from 5:30p-7p AND in Plato at the Park from 3:30-5:30p – Tuesday, June 19: Casey’s in Winsted from 10a-1p – Wednesday, June 20: Kwik Trip in Hutchinson from 10a-Noon

    2. MNBIF Fundraiser at Culvers
      5:00 pm – 8:00 pm

      The MN Brain Injury Force holds their next meeting on Tuesday, June 5th from 5-8 pm at Culver’s in Hutchinson. It’s a Survivors Meeting to meet, eat, and share stories of hope and courage. A portion of Culver’s sales that night will go to the group.

      10:00 am – 6:00 pm

      Minnesota Pioneer Park of Annandale has their 2nd annual Tractor Show on Saturday, June 9th from 10a-6p. See antique farm and garden tractors and more! Cost is $6 for adults, $3 for 12-16 years old.

    1. Sea Side Service
      9:30 am – 10:30 am

      Members and friends of Grace Bible Church in Silver Lake invite you to experience and participate in a unique outdoor worship service.  On Sunday, (June 10th), at 9:30 am a specialSea Side Service will be held at Swan Lake (north side—next to the pier). The service is reflective of the times when Jesus preached from a boat (e.g. See The Gospel of Luke chapter 5) on the Sea of Galilee (a fresh water lake). This worship event includes: A message preached from a boat, and congregational singing.  Dress is casual, and those who attend are asked to bring their own lawn chairs or a blanket.  You are also welcome to join us with your boat. Swan Lake is located about one mile northwest of Silver Lake on County Rd. 16. To get there go to Highway 7, and turn west and take County Road 16 (north). In the case of inclement weather the service will be held at the church building. Grace Bible Church is located in Silver Lake at 300 Cleveland Street, next to the city water tower.

      The Mcleod County Historical Society’s Pork Chop Feed is Monday, June 11th from 4:30-7 pm on the Museum Grounds in Hutchinson. Adults are $12, Kids are $6, and extra meat is $3. Special Musical appearance during the feed by Durry.

      11:00 am – 9:00 pm

      Help the Hutchinson Youth Basketball Assocation by Eating Wings and Raising Funds on Wednesday, June 13th from 11a-9p. A portion of the proceeds from the day will be donated to the Association.

    2. Bloodmobile in Lester Prairie
      1:00 pm – 7:00 pm

    3. Senior Dance

      The next Senior Dance is Wednesday, June 13th from 1:30-4:30 pm at Mug Shots in Cosmos. Music by Michael James.

    4. June Monthly Dinner
      5:00 pm – 7:00 pm

      The Brownton Congregational Church is hosting their Community Meal the Second Wednesday of Each month (June 13) from 5-7 pm. Cost is just a free Will Donation. Take Outs available.  

    5. Pie and Ice Cream Social
      5:00 pm – 7:00 pm

      Enjoy the Pie and Ice Cream Social on Wednesday, June 13th at First Lutheran Church of Wintrhop from 5-7 pm. Serving Riblet or Turkey Sandwich, Chips, Pie and Ice Cream. Everyone is welcome.

    6. Sip N Sing
      5:00 pm – 8:00 pm

      You’re invited to Sip N Sing with the BASICS on Friday, June 22nd at Cactus Jacks 2 in Stewart. A Burger and Brats Bar is served from 5-8 pm for $10, the BASICS perform from 6-8 pm. Proceeds go to the Anniversary Celebration for St Paul’s Lutheran Church of Stewart.

      The Plato Lions have Burger Night and Dairy Day on Thursday, June 14th from 4-7 pm at the Plato Park. Serving Ice Cream Treats, Burgers, Hot Dogs, Beans and more. Proceeds go to local projects.

    2. Ice Cream Social
      4:30 pm – 7:00 pm

      Stop on out to St John’s 4C’s Church of Biscay’s Annual Ice Cream Social on Thursday, June 14th from 4:30-7 pm. Serving Turkey Salad Sandwiches, Riblets, Potato Salad, Pie, Ice Cream and more!

    3. Silver Lake Dairy Day
      5:30 pm – 7:30 pm

      Silver Lake Womens Club is hosting “June is Dairy Month”  Dairy Day at the Silver Lake City Park on Thursday, June 14, 2018 from 5:30 – 7:30 pm. In the event of rain/severe weather, Dairy Day will be held in the Silver Lake Auditorium.  A $5 pulled pork sandwich meal will be served, along with free crackers, cheese, milk and ice cream. Prizes will be awarded, a milk drinking contest will be held and a “Guess the weight and age” of a calf contest will also be available.

    1. Truck and Tractor Pull
      8:30 am – 1:00 pm

      Hamburg Lions Nathan Dammann Memorial Truck & Tractor Pull is Saturday June 16 at the Hamburg Bi-Centennial Park.  Registration begins at 8:30 with the pull beginning at 10:30 am. Proceeds benefit community projects and Livin’ Foundation.

    2. Balaton Vet Run
      12:00 pm – 7:00 pm

      You’re invited to the 3rd Annual Balaton Vet Run on Saturday, June 16th starting at the Balaton, MN Liquor Store. Kickstands up at Noon, Steak Supper and Entertainment at 6 pm. Cost is $20 per bike, $10 per passenger. Take part in the Silent Auction and raffle as well.

    1. Peace Lutheran Church Garage Sale
      3:00 pm – 6:00 pm

      Peace Lutheran Church has their Church Garage Sale at the Mcleod County Fairgrounds June 20-23 (Wed-Sat). Hours Wednesday 3-6 pm, Thursday and Friday, 9a-6p, and Saturday 8a-Noon. Proceeds to to Tell the Next Generation and Youth Mission Trips.

    2. MidSummer’s Festival
      4:30 pm – 7:00 pm

      It’s a Midsummer’s Festival at Swedlanda Lutheran Church on Wednesday, June 20. An Ice-Cream Social will be held from 4:30 – 7:00 pm, with sandwiches, beans, potato salad, pie, and home-made ice cream. A program will begin at 7 p.m. and will feature The BASICS. Swedlanda Lutheran Church is 9 miles southwest of Hector, 73950 County Road 16. Please call 320-848-2490 for further information.

    3. Hutch Legion Auxiliary
      6:00 pm – 7:30 pm

      Wednesday June 20th will be the Regular Meeting for Unit 96 Hutchinson, of the American Legion Auxiliary.  They will have Installation of Officers, with District President  Kat Benjamin acting as Installation Officer.   The meeting starts at 7pm, at VFW Post 906, Hutchinson.  A meal is available for purchase at 6pm at the VFW.
