    1. Allen Family in Concert
      6:30 pm – 8:00 pm

      The First Baptist Church of Cokato is hosting the Allen Family in Concert on Friday, Nov. 14th at 6:30 pm.  This Southern Gospel Music Family has traveled the world for their music, and you can see their new show on TLC this fall.  A free will offering will be taken.

    1. Litchfield Craft Fair
      9:00 am – 2:00 pm

      The Litchfield Opera House presents their annual Craft Fair on Saturday, Nov. 15th from 9a-2p.  Homemade Crafts will be sold, Entertainment, Snack Bar and more.  Admission is free.

    2. Fall Salad Luncheon
      10:30 am – 12:00 pm

      The women of Grace Bible Church in Silver Lake invite area ladies to their annual Fall Salad Luncheon on Saturday, Nov 15th at 10:30 am.  The event is free and will include a variety of delicious salads, and a talk by Karen Mitchell who will be speaking on her faith story called Adventure in Moving as well as on how to plan a quiet time and tips on hospitality. Reservations are not required, but are appreciated for planning purposes. To let us know you will be attending you call the church at (320)327-2352 

    3. Glencoe Community Strings Concert
      2:00 pm – 3:30 pm

      The Glencoe Community Springs will be performing at St. John’s Lutheran Church of New Germany on Saturday, Nov. 15th at 2 pm.  Light refreshments will be served.  Free will offering will be taken with proceeds going to St. John’s 150th anniversary fund.

    1. Bouja and Chicken Noodle Soup Sale
      8:30 am – 12:00 pm

      St. Anthony’s Church in Watkins is selling Bouja and Chicken Noodle Soup on Sunday, Nov. 16th from 8:30a-Noon.  Bouja is $13 per gallon, Chicken Noodle is $12.  You can preorder by calling Larry at 320-764-2965.  (no sale in December, sale returns in January)

    1. Educational Program
      7:00 pm – 8:00 pm

      The Mcleod County Historical Society presents “Mcleod’s Goods and People moved by rail”, an educational program on Monday, Nov. 17th from 7-8 pm at the Museums Educational Center.  Journalist and railroad history buff Terry Davis gives an inside look as to how Mcleod County’s goods and people were moved by the railroad  in the early days of the county.

    1. Caregiver Support Group
      1:30 pm – 3:00 pm

      The Next caregiver support group is Tuesday, Nov. 18th from 1:30-3 pm at the RC Hosptial and Clinic Willette Room in Olivia.  The group is free of charge.  The topic this month is “Holiday’s: Humbug or Hooray?”  All are welcome.  

    2. Photography Showcase
      5:30 pm – 8:30 pm

      The Hutchinson Photography Club will host its 7th Annual Photography Showcase on Tuesday, November 18 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Hutchinson Center for the Arts.  About 20 local artists will display nearly 120 photographs in several categories. More info at Hutchinsonphotographyclub.com

      The Brownton American Legion is having their annual Duck Party on Friday, Nov. 21st starting at 7 pm.  Drawings for Hams, Turkeys, Ducks and Cash Prizes throughout the night.

    2. Turkey Supper
      4:30 pm – 8:00 pm

      The Cosmos Legion invites you for their Turkey Supper on Friday, Nov. 21st from 4:30-8 pm.  Cost is $10, Kids 12 and under eat for $5.  

    3. Kingston Chili Supper

      The Kingston Apostolic Lutheran Church is hosting their Chili Supper on Friday, Nov. 21st from 5-7 pm.  Chili or Soup is available with Cornbread, breadstick and more!  A craft and baked goods sale will be going on also.

    1. Craft, Bake and Toy Sale
      8:00 am – 3:30 pm

      The Holy Family CCW invites you to their Craft, Bake, and Gently used toy sale on Saturday, Nov. 22nd from 8a-3:30p at the Church of the Holy Family in Silver Lake.  Also serving Homemade Kolaches, selling embroidered towels, Christmas items and more.

    2. Craft/Art Fair
      9:00 am – 2:00 pm

      The 36th annual Fine Arts Expo and 34th annual Creative Crafts Fair will be held Saturday, Nov 22,        9 am-2 pm at the Middle School in Howard Lake. There will be 80+ artists and craft persons exhibiting their works for sale. No admission fee, bring friends and family. Food stand, bake sale and prizes.

    3. NYA Craft Fair
      9:00 am – 3:00 pm

      The 32nd annual NYA Community Education Craft Fair will be Saturday, Nov. 22nd from 9a-3p.  Over 200 crafters on hand at Central High School/Middle School and a Business Fair will be at St. John’s Lutheran School.  Shuttle Bus will travel between the sites.  Lunch is available at all three sites.

    4. Holiday Home Tour
      12:30 pm – 4:30 pm

      Today’s women of Hutchinson present their Holiday Home Tour on Saturday, Nov. 22nd from 12:30-4:30 pm.  Advance tickets ONLY are $25 per adult and available at the Hutch Chamber office.  Dessert is served after the tour.  Proceeds help fund local organizations.

    5. Christmas Bazaar
      2:00 pm – 4:00 pm

      The Hector United Methodist Church is holding their Christmas Bazaar on Saturday, Nov. 22nd starting at 2 pm.  Browse the booths, Christmas Candy, Baked Goods, Country Store and more.  Lunch served, along with coffee and cider.

      The Holy Trinity Mission Group of Winsted will be serving a fundraising breakfast at the Holy Trinity school cafeteria on Sunday, Nov 23, 2014 from 8:30 – 11:30am or until gone.  The menu consists of: Egg bake, Country potatoes, pastries, fruit and beverage.

    2. St. Mary’s Christmas Sale

      St. Mary’s Care Center of Winsted is having their Christmas Sale on Sunday, Nov. 23 from 9a-3p.  Tea is served from 1-3 pm.  Stop by the Craft and Bake Sale.  Everyone is welcome!

    3. Dads Belgian Waffle Meal
      9:30 am – 1:00 pm

      St. John’s Lutheran School of NYA is having a Dad’s Belgian Waffle Meal on Sunday, Nov. 23rd from 9:30a-1p.  Adults are $8 in advance ($9 at the door), Children 6-12 are $5.  Carry outs available.  Everyone is welcome!  Proceeds benefit mission projects.

      Zion Lutheran Church of Buffalo Lake is having their Lutefisk and Swedish Meatball Supper on Sunday, Nov. 23rd from 5-7 pm.  Serving Lutefisk, Swedish Meatballs, Corn, Potatoes, Cream Sauce and Melted Butter, Lefse and Dessert.  Cost is $15 for Adults, $8 for ages 5-12, and under 4 is free.

      Swedlanda Lutheran Church of Hector invites you to The Singing Cowgirl on Wednesday,Nov. 26th, starting at 7 pm.  Lisa Murphy, the Singing Cowgirl, will present country and easy listening family oriented songs.  The concert is followed by pie.

      The Annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner will be Thursday, Nov. 27th (thanksgiving day), Noon at the First Congregational Church of Glencoe.  No charge for dinner, courtesy of area churches.  Free will offering will be accepted and given to the Food Shelf.  Everyone is welcome.  RSVP’s not required but requested to 320-864-3855

    1. Gingerbread House Make and Take
      9:00 am – 7:00 pm

      The Glencoe Silver Lake ECFE is hosting a Gingerbread House Make and Take event on Thursday, Dec 4th.  Two times for the event…9-10 am or 6-7 pm.  The event is for Kids (& their families) from ages 2-Kindergarten.  No admission, but donations of new unwrapped toys for needy children are accepted.   

    2. Down with Diabetes Christmas Gala
      6:00 pm – 9:00 pm

      The Crow River Winery is the host for the 2014 Down with Diabetes Alliance Christmas Gala on Thursday, Dec 4th.  Social hour at 6 pm, Meal at 7, Entertainment at 8 pm.  Tickets are $35 and available from the alliance on facebook, CR Winery, and Celebrate Dance Studio.
