    1. Annual Meeting and Potluck

      The Ness Church Cemetery Association of Litchfield’s annual Meeting and Potluck is on Sunday, Oct 29th. Noon Potluck, Meeting at 1 pm. Public is invited.

    1. Trunk or Treat
      5:00 pm – 6:30 pm

      The Bethlehem United Methodist Church has their Trunk or Treat event on Tuesday, Oct 31st from 5-6:30 pm. Decorated Car Trunks with Candy and you can vote for your favorite Trunk. All Welcome.

    2. Halloween Party
      5:30 pm – 7:00 pm

      The Brownton Lions Club is sponsoring its annual Halloween party for kids in sixth grade and under on Tuesday, Oct. 31, from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., in the Brownton Community Center. There is an entrance fee, which will be donated to the McLeod Emergency Food Shelf. The local Girl Scout Troop 34204 will be serving lunch as a fundraiser. The Lions also will be collecting used eyeglasses and hearing aids to be donated to Lions International.

      St John’s Lutheran Church of Winsted has their Chili and Pie Luncheon on Friday, Nov. 3rd from 10a-1p. Cost is a Free Will Donation. Proceeds go to support St John’s Missions.

      9:00 am – 3:00 pm

      You are invited to a Pop Up Event Saturday, Nov 4th at the Eden Valley Event Center from 9a-3p. Enjoy Crafters, Vendors and more. Also lunch served for a free will donation. Proceeds from lunch go to a local family in need.  

    2. Fall Bazaar
      9:00 am – 1:00 pm

      St Andrew’s Catholic Church of Fairfax has their Fall Bazaar on Saturday, Nov 4th from 9a-1p. Enjoy Apple Dumplings at 9 am, Soup and Sandwich Luncheon from 10a-1p, and the “Glorius Crowns” Vintage Hat Display. Everyone is Welcome.

    3. Fall Extravaganza
      9:00 am – 2:00 pm

      The Fall Extravaganza at Harmony River Living Center of Hutchinson is  Saturday, November 4, 9am-2pm. No admission charge, lunch available on site, drawings for door prizes, Arts, Crafts, Baked Goods and  Vendors, on 2 levels. Please use the main entrance

    4. Uffda Day
      9:00 am – 12:00 pm

      Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Atwater will be holding their annual Uffda Day on Saturday, November 4, from 9 a.m. to noon. At our bazaar we will have handmade gifts and crafts, gently used puzzles, farmers market with fresh produce, Wayne’s peanut brittle, baked goodies including Scandinavian treats and lefse, quilt raffle and more. Morning coffee will be served from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. and a Scandinavian meal will be served from 10 a.m. to noon. The Scandinavian meal includes: open face sandwich (rullepølse, turkey or ham), chicken wild rice soup, fruit soup, rømmegrøt, lefse and specialty cookies. 

    5. ACGC Musical
      2:00 pm – 3:30 pm

      The musical “Thoroughly Modern Millie Junior” will be presented by the ACGC Drama Department on Saturday, Nov 4th  and Sunday, Nov. 5th at 2p and Monday, Nov. 6th at 7 pm in the ACGC Theater in Grove City. Tickets will be sold at the door and are $6 for adults and $2 for students and senior citizens.

    1. All Saints Day Celebration
      9:30 am – 1:30 pm

      First Lutheran Church of Winthrop has their All Saints Day Celebration on Sunday, Nov. 5th starting at 9:30 am with Worship. A Pork Chop meal is served from 11a-1:30p for $10. All are welcome!

      10:30 am – 1:30 pm

      The annual Election Day Luncheon at Holy Trinity Church Social Hall in Winsted is Tuesday, Nov. 7th from 10:30a-1:30p. Serving homemade Chicken Noodle Soup, Chili, Pie, Ice Cream, and Beverage. Also shop the Country Store and Bake Sale, and check out the Raffle.

      The Next Senior Dance is Wednesday, Nov 8th from 1:30-4:30p at Mug Shots in Cosmos. Music by Jerry’s One Man Band.

    2. Donate While you Dine

      Donate while you dine at Culvers in Hutchinson on Wednesday, Nov. 8th from 5-8 pm. Funds raised to to the Mcleod Treatment Program.

    1. Craft and Bake Sale
      8:00 am – 1:00 pm

      The Women of St John’s Catholic Church in Hector are holding their annual Craft and Bake Sale on Saturday, Nov. 11th from 8a-1p at the BLHS High School in Hector. Cinnamon and Caramel Rolls served from 8a-11a, and a BBQ Lunch served from 11a-1p. Also dont forget to bid on the silent auction!

    2. Stewart Legion Poultry Party
      5:30 pm – 8:00 pm

      The Stewart American Legion is having their annual Poultry Party and Raffle on Saturday, Nov. 11th at 5:30 pm at Cactus Jacks 2 in Stewart. This Fundraiser benefits several VA Programs. They are raffling off Turkey’s, Hams, Ducks, Steaks, and more! Plus Prize drawins all night and Free beer and BBQ’s from 6:30-8 pm.

      Today’s women of Hutchinson is hosting a Breakfast Brunch on Sunday, Nov 12th from 9a-1p at the Elks in Hutchinson. All Proceeds go to the Elks All Inclusive Park. Cost is $8 in advance, $9 at the door

    2. Omelet Breakfast
      9:00 am – 12:30 pm

      The Hector Lioness Club has their Omelet Breakfast on Sunday, Nov. 12th from 9a-12:30p at the Hector United Methodist Church. Proceeds used for projects in the community.  

    3. Turkey Dinner
      10:00 am – 1:00 pm

      The Church of St Mary in Arlington has their Turkey Dinner on Sunday, Nov. 12th from 10a-1p. Adults are $11, Children 4-10 are $5, 3 and under are free. Don’t forget to shop the raffle as well!

    4. Soup and Sandwich Luncheon
      10:30 am – 1:00 pm

      St Paul’s Lutheran Church of Green Isle has a Soup and Sandwich Luncheon on Sunday, Nov. 12th from 10:30a-1p. Serving Chili, Chicken Noodle, Cream of Broccoli and Wild Rice Soups. Adults are $8, Children 6-10 are $4, and under 5 is free. Proceeds used for local and world missions.

      The Church of St Philip in Litchfield has their Turkey Dinner on Sunday, Nov. 12th from 11a-2p. Cost is $10 for adults, $5 for Children 6-11, and under 5 is free. Take Outs available for $1 more

    6. Chili Dinner Fundraiser
      11:30 am – 4:30 pm

      Enjoy a Chili Dinner Fundraiser on Sunday, Nov. 12th at the Mcleod County Museum in Hutchinson. Serving from 11:30a-4:30p. Adult meals are $10 and kid meals are $5.  

    7. Build your own Wreath
      2:00 pm – 4:00 pm

      Build your own Wreath at the Brownton Congregational Church on Sunday, Nov. 12th at 2 pm. Cost is only $20 and includes all the decorations, fun, food and more! Open to the Public!

    1. Medicare Presentation
      2:00 pm – 8:00 pm

      Join Sibley County Public Health for a FREE presentation on how changes in Medicare for 2018 will affect Medicare beneficiaries. The CARE event will be held Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at the Arlington Community Center in Arlington. Two sessions of this event will be offered: the first beginning at 2:00 pm and the second session beginning at 6:00 pm. There will be free blood pressure checks before the presentations, refreshments and door prizes. Featured speakers will be Robin Thompson from the MN River Area Agency on Aging and Stephen Perry from MN Department of Veterans Affairs. Various local agencies supporting the event will share information on the services they offer. If you have questions contact Sibley County Public Health and Human Services at (507) 237-4000.

      Hamburg Lions Fall Bingo is Friday Nov 17th. Doors open at 5:30 bingo begins at 7p .  Prizes include Turkeys, Hams &  Sausages. Meat raffle also available. Concessions & bar on site.  $8 for 25 games of bingo.

    2. Fun Night and Raffle
      7:00 pm – 8:30 pm

      The Brownton American Legion’s annual Fun Night and Raffle is on Friday, Nov. 17th at 7 pm at the Brownton Community Center. Drawings for Cash Prizes, plus Hams, Turkeys, Ducks and more!

    3. Plato Poultry Party
      7:30 pm – 9:00 pm

      The Plato Bluejays Poultry Party is Friday, Nov. 17th at the Plato Hall. Games, Paddle Wheel, Door Prizes, Bingo and more! Hamburger and Pop proceeds go to St Paul’s UCC Mission.

      The Litchfield Opera House has their annual Craft Fair on Saturday, Nov 18th from 9a-2p. Free Admission, Snack and Coffee Bar, and Unique Homemade Crafts.  

    2. Fine Arts and Craft Expo
      9:00 am – 2:00 pm

      The 39th annual FINE ARTS EXPO and 37th annual CREATIVE CRAFTS FAIR will be held Saturday, November 18, 9 am-2 pm in the Activity Center HLWW Middle School. Free admission. There will be 90+ artists and craft persons exhibiting their works for sale. No admission fee, bring friends and family. Food stand, bake sale and prizes.

    3. Christmas Bazaar
      2:00 pm – 4:00 pm

      The Hector United Methodist Church has their annual Christmas Bazaar on Saturday, Nov. 18th starting at 2 pm. Stop by to shop the Candy, Country Stroe, Baked Goods, and more! Cake and Coffee Served.

    1. Little Crow and the Dakota War
      4:00 pm – 5:30 pm

      Back by popular demand the Mcleod County Historical Society will have their second showing of the Documentary “Little Crow and the Dakota War” on Sunday, Nov. 19th starting at 4 pm at the State Theatre of Hutchinson. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for kids under 12. In addition the Director and Producer of the movie will be on hand for a Q and A Session after the movie.
